Fat Dog will take you through some of the most scenic parts of southwestern British Columbia. In this point-to-point course, you will travel from valley bottoms, through forests and up into high sub-alpine terrain. The course offers incredibly stunning alpine views including mountain vistas, wildflower meadows and sub-alpine forests. There is a mix of technical and non-technical trails with large sections being runnable. Most of the course is in very remote areas, with little to no cell phone coverage, and no road access. All distances involve a challenging elevation profile, both in ascent and decent. Many racers have said it is of similar difficulty to Hardrock.
