The Beat the Sunset 50km sounds simple; start between 12:00 & 12:30 and make the finish line by the time sunset falls, at 9:12pm.
We use a stunning, and flat, multi terrain 50km course that takes in the Thames Path, Jubilee River, Green Way, Burnham Beeches & more.
The course is fully marked, so no navigation is required. There are four checkpoints on course, fully stocked with snacks and drinks, and you can opt for your own favourite nutrition to be taken to the last two checkpoints.
All finishers receive a chunky medal and Beat the Sunset mementoes. There’s free car parking, free race photos too and a bar within metres of the finish line!
The generous cut off times and flat course make this ideal for newcomers to the world of ultra marathon.
