We are organizing the 7th edition of 100 ob Mrzli reki (the run along the cold waters) on Sunday, September 29th, 2024. The competition takes place in Ajdovščina – Slovenia, in the very center of the city, in individual categories and as a relay race.
Distances individually: 100 km, 75 km, 50 km individually
Relay run – length per member in the relay: 20 km, 15 km, 10 km (5 member relays), 2.5 km (4 member relays of Vipava Valley companies).
Entry fee: €30 – €35 per relay member, €55 – €75 for individuals.
This year, the 100 km run is considered the third national championship of Slovenia. The start-finish area is on Lavričev trg, and the other accompanying activities will take place in the Hall of the First Slovenian Government. The competition route is circular and follows a 2.5 km long circuit, the number of circuits depends on the selected distance. The competition takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., time limit for all categories is 12 hours. Announcement of the results of the relay 1 hour after the arrival of the first 3 best at the finish line, award ceremony for individual categories at 7:30 p.m. in the Hall of the First Slovenian Government. On Saturday, the day before the competition, we will organize a discussion evening with well-known competitors from the ultra and recreational running scene. Registration limit to 400 competitors. “
