The 3rd Annual AZT Oracle Rumble takes place on Saturday, Jan 26, 2019 near the beautiful, historic town of Oracle, Arizona, located just north of Tucson on the north side of the mighty Santa Catalina Mountains.

The event is mostly single-track through Oracle State Park (OSP) and following magnificent and remote sections of the Arizona Trail (AZT). The course is constantly rolling, making this a very challenging event for all distances. Your reward is that the views of the remarkable sonoran desert are often breathtaking!

This event is brought to you by the Arizona Trail Association and local trail runners, a collective group with years of experience putting on and participating in running events of all kinds. We have an intense love for the outdoors, trail running, Arizona’s wild landscapes, and the Arizona National Scenic Trail.

We are an ultra-marathon at heart and offer the following ultra-distances of 50 Miles, 50K and a two-person relay for the 50 mile race. Not to worry if you don’t feel quite ready for those distances, we also have a half-marathon and 12K entirely on the awesome trails within Oracle State Park!

All entrants can expect:

1. Great temps – In January, the average high temperature in Oracle is 56 °F (13 °C) with a low of 35 °F (2 °C) at an elevation of 4,100 feet

2. Great support – our aid stations, food and volunteers are second to none!

3. Great swag – unique finisher awards, plus a logo’d shirt and running gloves with your registration!

4. Great Views – The Sonoran Desert and Oracle State Park are magnificent and you will have some unique views regardless of the distance you choose to run!

This event is part of a super cool series that celebrates utra running in southern Arizona call the Southern Arizona Triple 50!
