A truly exceptional area for trail running, with the marathon and ultra runners covering areas around Dunkery Hill and Horner Wood, two nature reserves before joining the South West Coast Path back towards Porlock and the finish.

The 12k and half marathon runners, stay on the coastal side of the A39, where you will enjoy running through some stunning wood sections and the fantastic coastal path around Porlock and Bossington Hill.

An outstanding Trail run awaits you within the beautiful and exhilarating Exmoor National Park. Leaving the tranquil village of Allerford deep within the National Parks you arrive on forest trials that lead you to a 19th Century Memorial Hut.

Following the trail across the Moor you arrive at Selworthy Beacon, leaving the Beacon behind you take the coastal path with spectacular views towards Hursltone Point and the coast.

The trail takes you to the lower coastal path before you climb to reach Bossington Hill before heading back through the Allerford Plantation and the Agnes Fountain Monument and the finish.

Canicross friendly (please ensure your dog has trained properly for the event).
