The Glen Ogle starts and ends at the village of Killin and is run on a variety of surfaces, mostly forest trails and cycle paths. The race will be marshalled in the first stages as it is run on country roads.
Water will be provided approximately every 7 miles. First aiders and medical supplies will be available throughout the race and at each checkpoint.
It will be mandatory for runners to carry two items at all times: an emergency blanket and a functional mobile phone.
Spot checks will be carried out to ensure all runners comply with this rule.
There is no cut-off time. There will be a drop bag point half way through the race.
