This fantastic event will take you through the heart of the two picturesque Colne & Holme valleys in borough of Kirklees on the edge of the Peak District National Park.

Both valleys renowned over the last few decades as the setting of some iconic TV and film production, and the route which is approx 90% off road will allow you to experience a mixed terrain with beautiful trails, open moorland and wonderful vistas.

The inaugural event will take place on the 10th July 2021 and will be a memorable journey on foot of 50 miles, and summitting Black Hill, the highest peak in West Yorkshire at 582 metres above sea level and a total elevation gain of 1834 metres.

It is our aim to make this a truly memorable experience for you as an ultra runner as possible. We want to make this journey a day which will leave you with lasting memories which you will want to repeat and we have tried to create a route which will do just that. Wonderful trails, open moorland, incredible vistas
