The LochNess360ﹾ Challenge, the newest ultra marathon Scotland has to offer!

Take on 129km and over 3000 metres of ascent within a time limit of 24 hours. If you plan on undertaking the entire route of the LochNess360ﹾ Trail, then you must be very experienced in off road trail running. Above all, you should also have experience of completing long ultra marathons (88km plus). This is not a challenge for beginners!

This brand new ultra marathon will take you through the rugged beauty of a Highland landscape. In addition, as you go around Loch Ness, you will experience some of the best views of any running challenge in the world.

All ultra-marathon competitors are required to provide a mandatory kit, to include:

A mobile phone, sufficient water and food to last for 4 hours, water/windproof top, additional base layer, hat and long running pants, suitable off road running shoes, headtorch.

A box for ultra-marathon runners for one check point will be available at registration for personal drinks and other items. These or if you bring your own drop bag (would need to be waterproof) need to be clearly labelled with name/race number and will be delivered to the check point.

Support crews will be permitted to meet competitors and points to be advised.
