We are very excited to return with this event for 2021 at Lulworth Cove in Dorset, one of the most beautiful and recognisable stretches of coastline in the country, situated right on the South West Coast Path. Canicross friendly.
Starting at the Durdle Door overflow car park, it’s a beautiful place to begin this trail running challenge.

All four distances will take on this stretch of coastline, almost all the way to Weymouth – the 10K runners won’t make it this far, turn off half way along and climb away from the coast to find the higher coastal path before heading back to Lulworth and the finish.

With the rest of the field carrying on to Osmington Mills, the Half Marathon, Marathon and Ultra runners leave the coast path for a while before joining the upper coast path and heading back to Lulworth Cove, enjoying the views from a different direction and a slightly higher view point.

The Half Marathon runners will finish when they arrive back at Lulworth Cove, whereas the Marathon and Ultra runners will carry on past the start/finish line to begin the second leg of their challenge, heading in the other direction along the coast path towards St Alban’s Head and Poole. Here they will follow the coast path through M.O.D land, this is a particularly tough section but well worth it. The Marathon and Ultra turn off the coast path at different times before looping back to Lulworth Cove to the finish line.

This is a stunning venue for a trail running challenge and we advise you to take a camera for the challenge and enjoy the view as you run.

There will be a bespoke medal for all runners at the finish with lots of refreshments and support along the way
