The Monarchs Way Ultra is the longest non-stop race in the UK. It is a 615-mile long race that averages 43 miles every 24 hours for 14 days solid.
Participants decide where and when to sleep within the cut off periods. No pacers or outside support is permitted. Manned checkpoints are located every 40 miles approximately to change kit and get suppies. Partial cut off times are in place for each checkpoint.
The race starts at Powick Bridge (Worcester) and ends in Shoreham-by-Sea. The finish cut off time is June 2nd at 10am.
Although the route is marked some navigation skill will be required along certain sections of the route.
There is a compulsory kit list and runners will be issued with trackers.
