Nestled amidst an endless arena of tumbling valleys and towering peaks, the small village of Arinsal is gearing up to host one of the season’s biggest events, with the classic Skyrace Comapedrosa officially designated to decide the 2024 XTERRA European Trail Run Championship.

The internationally renowned race through the Pyrenees is backed by 15 years of history and, after joining the XTERRA Trail Run World Series in 2023, will now have the honour of crowning Europe’s best in the region’s most contested race of the series.

The event comes in just the second year that the Skyrace has grown to form part of the all-inclusive Mountain Festival Comapedrosa, with 2024 seeing only the second edition of the XTERRA European Trail Run Champs. This one will be the most spectacular yet, and should not be missed by any runner with a love for mountains and trails!
