To better accomodate the trail running audience, Ortler Sky Trails grew as a separate independant event out of a fundraiser organized to create awareness about ALS and gather funds for ALS research.

As trailrunners we love the mountains and we want to share the experiences they gave us with everyone wo can run!

  • On Friday afternoon you can run a fun Vertical while collecting your bib numbers for the real stuff.
  • The start of the Stelvio Ultra Trail is at 04:00, so do not forget your headtorches and warm clothing.
  • Once the Ultra runners have left, we start the Ortler Sky Marathon at 08:00, the Ortler Glacier Trail at 08:30 and the Ortler Ronda Classic at 09:30.

All tracks run through the Stelvio Nature park and the Stelvio Ultra (80km) will lead you over the top of the Stelvio mountain at 2750m! What a view!

Sulden am Ortler, at 1900m alt., is the perfect place to host this spectacular event and the Ortler is the perfect mountain range for the multifaceted trail tracks to put your strength and perseverance to the test.
