🔥 17th October – Are You Ready to Go Long? 🔥
Set your sights on an unforgettable challenge in the heart of West Yorkshire. Choose your distance: 40 or 80 miles of rugged beauty, relentless climbs, and rewarding views.
The route kicks off from Hebden Bridge, heading straight onto the iconic Pennine Way. Expect wild, open moorland, windswept trails, and the satisfaction of ticking off trig points before a sweeping descent into the dramatic landscape of Scammonden Reservoir.
From there, the journey shifts. Quiet country roads guide you through Huddersfield, into the shaded trails of West Vale woods, and along the characterful streets of Sowerby Bridge. Then comes the climb — up to Bob’s Tearoom — where tired legs meet big determination before the final push back to Hebden Bridge.
Taking on the 80-mile option? You’ll complete two full loops. It’s a true test of endurance, with 28 hours to conquer the course.
And at the finish? Warmth, camaraderie, and a proper welcome await at Hebden Hey Scout Hut — think roaring log fire, hot soup, and that unbeatable feeling of crossing the line.
This is more than a race. It’s an adventure.
