The 2nd Run to the Sea Bournemouth takes place on Saturday October 16th 2021.
The 50km multi terrain route is from Moors Valley to Hengistbury Head; absolutely stunning and extremely flat! The first 30km uses the Castleman Trail, a disused railway path, through lush forestry and tranquil woodlands, to reach Holes Bay and Poole Harbour.
You’ll be distracted briefly by the amazing views over Brownsea Island and Sandbanks before you join the legendary coastal promenade for the final 15km, through Bournemouth, to the most beautiful finish of them all, at Hengistbury Head.
Park & register at the finish end of the run and we’ll transport you pre event to the start at Ringwood.
Of course, there’ll be medals, souvenirs, prizes, a fully signed course, feed stations every 10km, and a lot more.
We’ll have very generous time limits in place, roughly equating to walking pace, so you can take your time if you’d like to; this is a perfect event for runners new to the world of the ultra marathon, and one not to be used for any runner.
