The twentieth edition of the oldest trail in Morocco, the Saghro Trail, will take place from April 11 to 19, 2026. A race in 3 stages. A rich program to discover the Saghro mountains and the spectacular landscapes, the hiking trails, its culture, its ancient history and its heroes, Participants must be in semi-autonomy, with liquid supplies on the course and a solid supply at the finish.

Getting started on “Saghro Trail” in Morocco is much more than a hike; it is the entrance to a deeply transformative experience. As you cross this majestic desert, you are faced with a constantly changing landscape – from the iconic golden sand dunes to the rocky and rugged expanses of the Black Desert. The trail reveals the many moods of the desert: its peaceful sunrises, its flamboyant sunsets and the captivating silence under the moon. This trip also offers a rare insight into the lives of Sahrawi indigenous peoples, whose rich cultural heritage and survival skills have been refined over the centuries in these difficult conditions. Along the way, travelers can learn traditional Saharan music, cuisine and tales, making the Sahara Trail not only a physical journey, but also a deep cultural and spiritual exploration.
