The Sandlings 55

The Sandlings 55 is a 55 mile long trail which follows the Sandling Walk path throught the forests and heathlands along the Suffolk coast between Southwold and Ipswich. This relatively flat trail is a mix of tracks, paths and short sections of road and sandy trails that dry well.

  • Registration – will be open between 5,00am and 6,00am
  • Briefing – the race briefing will be at 6.00am before boarding the coach.
  • Coach – the coach will leave promptly at 6.15am
  • Start – the race will start at 7.00am in Southwold
  • Cut-Off – 15 hours
  • Price – £60.00

We supply runners with 1 drop bag for the race. The Drop bags are your ‘crew’ – some of the mandatory kit can be distributed between these bags so you have it available during the race should you need it – but you don’t have to carry it all the time, enabling you to make decisions about what to carry when and not be weighed down unnecessarily!

Included in race

  • Coach transport to the start of the race
  • Checkpoints loaded with goodies
  • Fully marked with permanent ‘Sandlings Walk’ path signage
  • Prizes for top 3 men and ladies in each race
  • All finishers receive medal and t-shirt
