The EDDUM – A 50 mile challenge around the Epynt Way!

Sponsored by Hammer Nutrition, Enduraprep and Rokman.

Join us on an epic 50 mile journey around the sleeping giant that is… The Epynt Way! The mostly untouched permissive path loops around the Sennybridge Training Area, the third largest military training area in the UK… but have no worries, The MOD have made sure the area is safer than your own backyard! Keep your eyes peeled for the local mountain bikers, the experienced day hikers, the brute horses on the run and a thousand shades of green that will make you fall in love all over again.

The Epynt Way

The remarkable history of the area and unspoilt countryside has changed very little over the past 500 years. With the Brecon Beacons to the South and the Cambrian Mountains to the North, the Epynt Way will fill your lungs with the freshest air, your eyes with remarkable sights and your heart with the passion to keep exploring!

Point of interest

The Sennybridge Training Area (SENTA) is the third largest military training ground in the United Kingdom, lying north of the Brecon Beacons and don’t you worry… You will be running the full 50 miles around the boundary.

The reason we’ve created The EDDUM is to showcase some of the most awesome and beautiful trails Wales has to offer, whilst giving each and every runner an adventure of a lifetime that will live long in the legs.

Enough of the huff, sign up today, challenge your perceived limits and toe the line at the EDDUM in 2022.

Time Limits and Checkpoints

Please note we do not have time limits. Like we’ve stated previously, you’ve trained and paid to enter this race… We owe it to each Athlete to provide the help, support and time to get all to the Finish Line. Although we want our Athletes to challenge themselves, we don’t believe you have to run your heart out to do so. Take in the scenery, have a chat with a local, but most of all… Enjoy the trek!

In terms of Checkpoints, there will be 7 along the circular route. They will be fully manned and stocked with; snacks, fresh fruit, drinks, hot/cold food, resting areas, shelter where needed and The Braveheart soundtrack on repeat! Please let us know of any special dietary requirements, as we will accommodate accordingly.
