Meandering through Shrewsbury the course is flat and hugs the river until you cross a bridge at Atcham where the path remains away from the Severn until briefly touching at Cressage and then again at Buildwas, Ironbridge, Jackfield and Coalport, all producing stunning scenery and landmarks.
The route continues to hug the Severn through Apley Forge, Bridgnorth, Hampton, Upper Arley, Bewdley, Stourport, finally reaching Top Barn Activity Centre, Holt Heath, the conclusion of The Severn Path Ultra.
