TRAIL ATTACK 24 – 3k Family Run, Day and Night 10k plus the big one, 24 hour multi-lap ultra trail run.

Based at The Heart of England Forest in the beautiful rolling hills of west Warwickshire, this weekend of camping and friendly running competition is not to be missed.

The 2018 event will take place during the Spring Bank Holiday weekend, 26th – 27th May.

The Heart of England Forest started with a simple vision: to plant, protect and preserve a huge broadleaf forest – a place of tranquility and natural beauty that’s open to anyone and planted with the help and support of everyone.

And, as the forest grows, so do the possibilities. There are plans for off-road bike tracks, woodland play areas, camping, and a café.

But for now, it provides us with the most awesome trail running venue!

Our 10km route winds through newly planted trees on relatively flat ground before hitting the first climb at about 4km. You are then taken along the ridge-line which offers stunning views of the whole course before diving up again into mature woodland. A long descent follows as the course opens out, before two more smaller climbs take you back to the transition area.
