About the route

The Wolds Rangers Way is a 43 mile circular waymarked route through the beautiful Yorkshire Wolds, starting and ending in the centre of Driffield. The terrain is vast farmland, chalkland and dry valleys through mostly green lanes and bridleways.

The undulating landscape is challenging but not technical, so whether this is your first ultra-marathon, or you are an experienced runner looking for a fast time, the generous 14 hour cut-off time would be suitable for anyone with a good level of fitness.

The Wold Rangers Way officially opened in August 2021 and is the brainchild of Driffield Town Council. Inspired by the agricultural folklore of the Wold Rangers in the years gone by.
