53rd Original Mountain Marathon

The legendary Original Mountain Marathon, the UK’s biggest mountain race has shaped the UK outdoor community for 50 years. Since 1968 the UK’s greatest running legends, product creators & influential people have stood on the start line.

Created to give those who love being in the mountains an opportunity to challenge their abilities. Teams of 2 choose what kit they need and route and distance they’ll cover to find a series of checkpoints spread across the mountains.

The 2 day race stops at an overnight wildcamp where teams are unsupported and carry tent, sleeping bag and everything they will need.

7 course options are available for first timers to Elite Runners.  All abilities are welcome but competitors will be vetted for experience.

The OMM is a classic British race that everyone should do at least once.

2000 competitors with a waiting list from July.
